FOREWORD
Praise and Gratitude to the presence of God the Almighty by his grace we are enabled to have a permanent clinic on Jl. Nangka Utara 267, Tonja, Denpasar Utara, Bali – Indonesia.
The field of health services in its journey is always influenced by factors from outside the health institution itself, including government policies and regulations including the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance and other Ministries related to Politics, the advancement of Medical Science and Technology which changes rapidly and competition, Therefore, the owner of the health facility together with the Board of Directors is expected to be able to predict and anticipate the impact that will occur on the survival, growth and development of Health Services. Thus, the clinic must also make a Long-Term Strategic Plan, adapting to changes that occur so that the clinic providing health services can continue to grow and develop to achieve the vision and mission of the Klinik Utama Bali Puri Medika in accordance with the situation and conditions faced.
This Strategic Plan is a guide in an effort to realize the Vision and Mission in the future, in order to meet the demands of the community for better and quality health services in order to improve the health status of the community.
Strategic planning is the first step to help leaders achieve their vision and short-term and long-term performance targets for the organization and make strategic decisions when changes occur.
BACKGROUND
The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) proclaimed by the United Nations started the global development of this century. This global theme implies the importance of efforts to improve the health status of the community as one of the indicators of human development (Human Development Index).
Klinik Utama Bali Puri Medika as one of the basic health service providers has an important role to participate in health as the forefront of integrated and comprehensive health services in order to reduce morbidity and mortality rates and improve public health status.
In an effort to provide health services in order to achieve success, it is necessary to make a good strategic plan in accordance with the Vision and Mission of the Klinik Utama Bali Puri Medika.
Likewise, in order to deal with changes in the External (Political, Economic, Social, Government Regulation, Competition) and Internal Environment that can have an impact on health services, Klinik Utama Bali Puri Medika must be able to take positive steps to adapt in order to get optimal and professionals in service to the community/patients.
The service coverage area of Klinik Utama Bali Puri Medika includes the people of the North Denpasar District which are inhabited by 143898 (data up to May 2019 obtained from North Denpasar District, Tonja Village, Ubung Village, Peguyangan Village).
The number of Government-Owned Health Service Facilities are:
– 1 Regional General Hospital (RSUD), namely Wangaya Hospital on Jl. Kartini no. 133
– 3 Community Health Centers (Puskesmas), namely:
• Puskesmas I : on Jl. Cambodia No. 2
• Puskesmas II : on Jl. Mount Agung, Gang II No. 8X
• Health Center III : on Jl. North Ahmad Yani No. 159
The number of privately owned health service facilities are:
Several Clinics: Anugerah Clinic, Pratama Asih Usadha Clinic, SOS Gatot Kaca Clinic, Wiratni Clinic, etc.
We see that the ratio of existing basic health services to the population is still low, so we see that more basic service facilities are still needed to reach a wider community so that we still have the opportunity to serve the community in North Denpasar District.
- Strategic Management that we will do as follows:
Service development is carried out by adjusting the fulfillment of the growing need for health services, medical science and technology, existing competition, adjustment to new regulations, cost efficiency and cost effectiveness. - Completion of the service concept includes the quality of medical services and patient safety, patient focus for patient satisfaction.
- Implement a work culture for all Medical Staff and All Employees of Klinik Utama Bali Puri Medika by conducting in-house training and training outside the Clinic with Psychologists so that employees improve the competence of existing health workers as well as provide work motivation and foster good and productive character.
- The work culture that we will apply at Klinik Utama Bali Puri Medika is as follows:

• Build quality (Building Quality)
• Plan, develop, monitor and take action (PDCA)
• Carry out continuous improvement efforts (Continues Improvement) - The addition of several specialist doctors, general practitioners and dentists in accordance with the needs of the existing community.
- The addition of competent human resources in the field of health services respectively in order to provide the best service.
- Improving service quality and patient safety by setting service quality indicators.
- Creating an integrated Information and Management Information System so that service efficiency occurs, including shortening waiting times, reducing printing costs and increasing patient satisfaction and obtaining accurate data that can be processed for further service development information.
- Improving the image of Klinik Utama Bali Puri Medika to become the community’s preferred clinic that is able to provide quality and up-to-date basic health services in accordance with the available resources and finances.
DESTINATION
Participate in the basic health service program that has been established by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia / Bali Provincial Health Office, namely providing quality basic and specialist health services by prioritizing patient safety in order to improve the health status of the community in the North Denpasar District and surrounding areas in a professional, friendly, effective manner in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and or the Bali Provincial Health Office.
In addition, it also organizes health services for functional personnel of shipping services, namely for seafarers from Bali and seafarers from the islands in West Nusa Tenggara, where we observe that seafarers from Bali have a very good reputation as cruise ship crews, so that if they can serve them it will be able to help reduce their medical costs and check their health efficiently and effectively compared to having to go to Surabaya or Jakarta.
VISION
To become one of the best medical check-up centers for students, company employees, Service/Offshore Functional Workers in Indonesia and meet the standards set by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and/or international standards/destination country standards.
